Replaced with New Product
ME551i2 is a 21.3-inch 5 megapixcel DICOM-calibrated diagnostic display with an 11.9-bit grayscale palette and 750cd/m² brightness. Furthermore, it has a luminance equalizer to achieve highly accurate luminance uniformity across the screen and the capability to simultaneously display 2048 shades of gray (11-bit) to realize smoother and precise grayscale display. Both are musts for digital mammography.
Another notable characteristic of ME551i2 is its display accuracy control capability. The built-in luminance sensor is mounted in front of the screen and monitors luminance constantly to accurately stabilize luminance. An optional performance monitoring software further enables the easy evaluation of DICOM GSDF conformance based on the data measured by the front sensor.
Best suited for digital mammography and other advanced applications
High-resolution display with 5MPs at 0.165 x 0.165 mm pixel pitch. Advanced display performance is achieved through features such as simultaneous display of 2048 shades of gray to enable grayscale display faithful to the DICOM GSDF and a luminance uniformity equalizer to even out luminance across the screen. Moreover, a display accuracy control capability is built in.
FDA 510(k) cleared as a digital mammography LCD display.
Newly developed luminance stabilizing system λ-Sentinel II
Provides enhanced stability in luminance and interaction with performance monitoring software PM Medivisor to evaluate conformity to DICOM GSDF.
Simultaneous display of 11bit (2048 shades of gray
Realizes smoother grayscale display required for medical image displays.
* A viewer software that supports TOTOKU’s multi-shade display system is reguired for 11-bit simultaneous display.
Luminance equalizer λ-Uniformity Congruence
Is built in to achieve highly accurate luminance uniformity across the screen. Luminance unevenness is minimized in the final tune-up prior to shipping. Calibrates luminance and gamma to enable smooth grayscale display that is faithful to DICOM GSDF. Calibration capability for DICOM Part 14 compliant grayscale presentation
Hardware pivot function for fast drawing in portrait orientation
Stress-free operation is made possible by the fast drawing speed even in portrait orientation.
Dual Link input provides smooth display of motion pictures.
Color/monochrome conversion function for multi-display setups with both color and monochrome displays Color/monochrome conversion function for multi-display setups with both color and monochrome displays
LUT switching function
Allows switching among 3 luminance-gamma presets using a designated software.
OSD Information Display
Such information as the display model, total operating time, actual measurement of luminance, and calibration settings can be checked on screen.
LED indicator to inform of current statusLED indicator to inform of current status
A glance at the LED indicator tells you the display’s current operating status.
Pairing service to match colors of two displays (Optional)
Worldwide medical safety standards Worldwide medical safety standards
This display is certified under various medical safety standards that are much more demanding than those for general-purpose IT equipment.
